Bedroom 3

This bedroom is void of a closet, understandably, as this room was reportedly used to store the muskets in the built-in cabinets while the men imbibed downstairs in the tavern. The wide plank flooring is original and you can see through the "cracks" in the floor down to the tavern below. The vent holes once covered by metal grates to allow heat to rise from below, have since been filled in with wood. We intend to open them back up and reinstall grates as depicted in the early 1900's photo to the left.

This room was left untouched during the 2017-2020 remodel by Robin Bardo. The age of the wallpaper is unknown but likely installed in the remodel by the Saunders in 2008.
