It's been a while since we have made a major update to the website. Today we launched the "books" page that includes books that were passed on to us, a book we were given by our sweet neighbors Marilyn and Steve, and books we have found on our own that reference the house. Some of these books have just a quick one-sentence reference and some have a few pages of information.
It seems there is not a shortage of information on this house and we learn more with every person we meet! Every time we learn more, it triggers a new research topic to add to our list. There were so many references to the Bull's Tavern in these books one of the projects we have decided to add to our list is to research the ownership and/or occupant history of the home.
We know that Edward Morris passed to the Brant family; Brant passed to Saunders; Saunders to Bardo and Bardo to us. We are excited to continue finding out more!
